As part of the Image Production course I have taken, I re-designed an album cover for a band of my choice. The chosen band- Sticky Fingers. The album- Land of Pleasure. Below is the final design.
These are three iterations of the vinyl cover design for the album. I experimented with different approaches, materials, and layouts.
The main element I was trying to play around with and base my images on is the meaning of pleasure and how it's being expressed in their songs.
I wanted to focus on the “guilty pleasure” part because that is what the album is about.
I considered using colours (red, gold) or different objects that related to pleasure and experimented with them (left image).
